Joel planned the proposal at The Cloisters, since Caity wouldn't find anything unusual about spending a Saturday at a museum.
Cocktail attire is encouraged—think elegant yet comfortable for an outdoor celebration. Ladies, consider the terrain when choosing footwear. Gentlemen, ties optional but appreciated.

Two complimentary buses will bring guests to Blooming Hill Farm and back again after the reception. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to sign up. Please be at your stop 10 minutes early, as the buses cannot wait.
Both Beacon pick-ups are at the same lot. Bus 2 leaves first, at 2:45 PM, and both buses arrive at the farm at 3:45 PM. Tap a stop for directions.
There is no shuttle home from the afterparty, so please plan your own ride. Uber and Lyft both work here, but drivers can be scarce late at night, so we would suggest scheduling a ride ahead of time and saving one of these numbers as a backup. Beacon taxis can also take you to the Fishkill hotels, a short drive away.

The bus picks up and drops off in the free public parking lot at the corner of N Chestnut Street and Church Street, across the street from this address (Denning’s Point Distillery), just off Main Street. Look for the bus in the lot — not at the building itself.

The dress code is Farm Formal—think cocktail attire with a countryside twist. Ladies, we recommend comfortable footwear as the ceremony will be outdoors on grass. October evenings in Monroe can be crisp, so consider bringing a light jacket or wrap. Gentlemen, ties are optional but appreciated. Dress elegantly, but stay comfortable for an evening of celebration under the stars.
We love your little ones, but we've decided to make this an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope this gives you a well-deserved night out!
Please do not arrive before 3:45 PM, as the venue will be undergoing final preparations. Starting at 3:45 PM, you're welcome to arrive and find your seat before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. The venue is beautiful, so we encourage you to arrive closer to 3:45 to soak in the scenery!

To the wedding: • Bus 1: Hilton Garden Inn, Fishkill at 2:30 PM, then 59 Church Street, Beacon at 2:55 PM • Bus 2: 59 Church Street, Beacon at 2:45 PM, then Sleep Inn, Monroe at 3:30 PM After the reception: • Bus 1 leaves at 10:00 PM for The Vinyl Room in Beacon (the afterparty), then the Hilton Garden Inn • Bus 2 leaves at 10:10 PM for the Sleep Inn, then The Vinyl Room Please be at your stop 10 minutes early, as the buses cannot wait. If you are staying at the Hyatt House or SpringHill Suites, the Hilton Garden Inn is next door. The Roundhouse and the Dutchess Inn are a short walk from the Beacon stop. If you are driving, there is ample free parking on-site with attendants to direct you.
We want everyone to enjoy the meal! Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we'll make sure our caterer accommodates your needs.
We kindly ask that you enjoy the ceremony unplugged—no phones or cameras during the vows. Our professional photographer will capture every moment, and we'll share those photos with you after the wedding. Feel free to snap away during the reception!
We're organizing a fun day-after adventure through the Hudson Valley on Saturday, October 10th! Here's the plan: • 10:15 AM – Pickup in Beacon • 10:30 AM – The bus leaves Beacon • 11:00 AM – Wine and lunch at Magnanini Winery • 1:30 PM – Water Street Market in New Paltz, with time to walk Main Street, browse the shops and take in the views of the Shawangunk Mountains • 3:15 PM – Storm King Art Center, a self-guided visit • 5:15 PM – Back in Beacon Lunch is provided and every stop is covered for guests on the bus. Where to meet: the free public parking lot at the corner of N Chestnut Street and Church Street in Beacon, just off Main Street. Use 10 N Chestnut Street, Beacon, NY 12508 in your GPS. The Hudson Valley has so much to offer! Here are some local favorites: • Dia:Beacon – World-renowned contemporary art museum in a former Nabisco factory. Open Friday-Monday, 10am-4pm. • Mount Beacon – Stunning hiking trail with panoramic views of the Hudson River and Catskills. The trailhead is right in Beacon. • Beacon Main Street – Charming downtown with galleries, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Perfect for strolling and exploring. • Storm King Art Center – Massive outdoor sculpture park with 500 acres of rolling hills and monumental artwork (about 25 minutes from Monroe). • Museum Village – Historic village featuring 'Harry' the Mastodon, one of only three complete mastodon specimens in the world (in Monroe). • West Point – Tour the historic United States Military Academy (about 20 minutes from Monroe). • Hudson Valley Wineries & Breweries – The region is known for its wine and craft beer scene.
